James Streett

James StreettI am an associate attorney with Branham & Day. I originally hail from the town of Russellville, Arkansas, but my education and interest in the law have taken me throughout the United States. I completed my undergraduate work at Loyola University New Orleans in 2001, and subsequently spent a year doing volunteer service work with the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Tribes of southeastern Montana. I also spent time completing an internship with the White House Office of Presidential Speechwriting in Washington, D.C.

In 2005, I received my law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, TN. During my time at Vanderbilt, I served on the editorial board of the Journal of Entertainment Law and Practice, the moot court and mock trial boards, and completed an internship with the Tennessee Supreme Court. After graduation, my wife Elizabeth and I found that we couldn't leave the wonderful people of Middle Tennessee and are now proud to call the state our home. I am a member of the Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations as well as the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
